My approach

My approach

Do you have a Dutch text that you want to have translated into English? To provide the best possible service, I will ask you to send me the text, so that I can check first whether I feel comfortable with the subject matter. I will then give you a quote and delivery time. Information on the subject matter, desired style and target group is very helpful and more often than not results in a better end product.

My watchwords are reliability, accuracy and flexibility. I can switch easily between languages and concepts, can work quickly and I have an inquisitive nature. If there are any ambiguities in the text, I will  put them to you so that the ultimate translation is clear. My word is my bond: I am not happy until you are satisfied. As a language professional, I deal with all documents as if they were confidential.

If you need an ‘official’ translation, you are at the right address, because I am registered as a certified translator in the Dutch Register beëdigde tolken en vertalers (no. 395) (www.bureaubtv.nl).

Apostille‘ and legalisation

If a foreign agency requires an apostille on the document, I can arrange that for you. Moreover, I can explain how to get a document legalised if the agency in question is not from a country that is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. Translations of documents that often require an apostille are birth, marriage and death certificates, divorce decrees and certificates attesting to educational qualifications.

Is it all double Dutch to you? In that case I can help you out!

If you use the contact form you can upload the text for translation at the same time.
